Cambridge Family Day Review - 9th May 2009

The family day in Cambridge was very well attended, with 15 families from the support group attending , plus the CMN trustees and Dr Veronica Kinsler. The day took place in Cambridge and was organised by Lucy Hardwidge, a CMN trustee and mum of Fay who has CMN. Lucy''s family and friends served tea and coffee throughout the day, along with a very tasty buffet and homemade cakes.
There were many activities for the children, including, crafts such as making Fathers Day cards and hand-held animal puppets. The children enjoyed playing on the two bouncy castles and taking part in a 'chocolate egg hunt'!

Dr Veronica Kinsler spoke about the CMN medical research to the group and spoke to individual families, answering questions regarding their own CMNs. The CMN trustees also spoke to everyone about the developments of the support group.
Jeans 4 Genes Organisation sent a representative along to the event who filmed parts of the day, which will be included in the Jeans 4 Genes promotional DVD.
The day was enjoyed by everyone who attended. A big thank you goes to Lucy Hardwidge and her family and friends for organising the family day.
